Born from the creators of the loved Childcare & Education Expo, the Childcare & Education Virtual Summit is returning to our screens on the 27th February 2021. Across one day, nineteen childcare experts will showcase their experience as they educate and inspire attendees on twelve fantastic topics. From teaching in classrooms, to developing ground-breaking research and even leading the largest, most influential organisations in the childcare sector – these speakers have seen it all.

The event will host a range of informative and engaging CPD seminars, focusing on topics such as play, safeguarding, diversity, gender, mental health, and curriculum support direct from Ofsted. Back by popular demand, you can also expect to see the return of panel discussions – where leading names in the sector join together to focus on current and prevailing matters in childcare. The first panel discussion of the day will be ‘Challenging Our Perspective on Education’. Set to speak on the panel is Sarah Mackenzie, Chief Academic Officer from N Family Club, Sejal Payne, an Independent Education Consultant, Penny Tassoni, President at PACEY and Jan Dubiel, Executive Principal at Harrow Little Lions Kindergartens.

Following the recent release of the Birth to Five Matters guidance for EYFS, the second panel will be discussing the guidance and offering the chance to have your say and get your questions answered. Join Michael Freeston, Director of Quality Improvement at Early Years Alliance, Professor Christine Pascal OBE, Director at the Centre for Research in Early Childhood, Nancy Stewart, Teacher and Consultant at Early Education and Shaddai Tembo, Early Years Writer lecturer at Perth College UHI.

“I have benefited from these events in more ways than one, it has given me support during times when we don’t know what is going to happen, new ideas which I have found exciting and also listening to the speakers it has made me feel more appreciated from the official sections which we all feel at times, don’t give us a thought and take us for granted.  So, I would like to say thank you very much for your hard work in organising these events.  I know there are many of us who have benefited.” – Gill McDougal, Childminder
