Words from the Early Years Nutrition Partnership…

We all know that music is a wonderful way to engage young children and at the Early Years Nutrition Partnership we have recently turned our hand to music making to help those healthy eating messages get through!

We recruited actor and writer Ben Faulks (best known as Mr Bloom from CBeebies) and award-winning composer Richie Webb, to compose ‘The Healthy Eating Song’, a lovely new ditty that celebrates healthy eating! With simple words and accompanying actions (to get them on their feet), it’s a joy to teach, as Ben found out when we paid a visit to Tender Years Day Nursery in Solihull last week. Ben soon had the children (and the practitioners!) joining in with his version on the ukulele!

Ben is going to treat the Childcare Expo Midlands audience to a live premiere performance this Friday. If you want to be a part of this unique moment in time for the EYN Partnership come along to the Jaguar Suite at 3.30pm on Friday, and get ready to join in!
