The popular online event, Childcare & Education Virtual Summit, is back and coming to a screen near you soon…
Created as an extension of the well-known Childcare & Education Expo events, the Virtual Summit takes the best speaker sessions from the in-person shows and brings them to an accessible, online platform – making sure nobody misses out!
The online event is set to take place on the 26th of November 2022, inviting all who play a role in the childcare sector to watch and learn, live or on-demand, from some of the top voted-for seminars & panel discussions of 2022. Read more to discover all there is to be gained from the Virtual Summit.
Seminars
This year’s leading topics will be presented in four seminars and three panel discussions for you to pick and choose from. Kicking off the speaker sessions is well-known Early Childhood Consultant, Sue Asquith, exploring some of the reasons why children might experience communication delays or long-term speech, language and communication needs.
Professionals in the early years and primary education sector can find inspections daunting. Vanessa Dooley, Director at Jigsaw Early Years Consultancy, will be tackling this uncertainty in her seminar focused on helping settings add impact to their inspections to achieve Outstanding results. Later in the day, fan-favourite Ben Kingston-Hughes, will present his transformative session looking at the role play has on evolutionary biology, neuroscience, well-being and even life expectancy.
Towards the end of the Summit, delegates will get the chance to hear from Phil Minns, Senior His Majesty’s Inspector for Early Curriculum at Ofsted, who will provide an understanding of the current issues regarding inspections.
Panel Sessions
The panel discussions have been carefully selected to represent some of the industry’s most crucial challenges and opportunities for growth. The first set of panellists of the day will discuss how providers can prepare to thrive in 2023, covering leadership, maintaining quality, building partnerships and supporting staff and parents. Following suit, the second panel session will highlight the importance of understanding and supporting children’s behaviour and communication needs. Lastly, the final panellists will discuss ways the sector can rebuild the early education workforce through raising its profiles, supporting staff, marketing settings, encouraging more men in the sector and more.
