Meet the fantastic practitioners behind the Tuff Tray Play Zone:

Fiona from Wildings Outdoor Play and Stay

My name is Fiona Vatish, in 2021 I left teaching after 17 years to open Wildlings Outdoor Play and Stay in Finham, Coventry. As a trained teacher with three young boys who love being outdoors, I wanted to create an environment that encouraged independent play in a secure and relaxed outdoor space. At Wildlings I offer a place where children can explore, create, discover and be free to PLAY! An area where parents and carers can relax, socialise with others and even enjoy a hot drink and some homemade cake whilst their little ones have fun in the fresh air.

At Wildlings I love using tuff trays. They are such a versatile resource, easy to clean, store and can be used at various heights, which enables even the youngest children to get involved in the play. I love the flexibility the tuff tray offers. They provide so many opportunities for the children to explore and discover. They are great for using in an outdoor environment providing maximum access and minimum spillage.

Beth Birch from A Day of Play

I am a Childminder based in Coventry and have recently been rated outstanding with Ofsted.
I work with an amazing assistant daily who supports me to provide a home from home environment incorporating each child’s needs, development and interests into all areas of the setting, creating a fun and nurturing environment where they are comfortable and confident to learn, laugh and grow amongst their peers.
We heavily focused on child-led play and that is used to plan for their developmental needs which we plan frequently for, both inside and out.
I also support and mentor childminders and other Early Years settings in order for them to provide a high standard of childcare and education.
