The excitement is building for the return of Childcare Expo, which is set to open its doors at EventCity in Manchester next week. On Friday 14th and Saturday 15th June, the longest-running event for the early years and primary education sectors will host a jam-packed exhibition filled with leading industry suppliers and fun-filled feature areas.
Special guests confirmed to attend the event include Shadow Early Years Minister, Tracy Brabin MP, who will be giving a free opening keynote speech, best-selling author, Alistair Bryce-Clegg, who will host seminar sessions on both days, and Britain’s Got Talent star, Donchez Dacres, who will deliver an energetic fitness workshop with Amanda’s Action Club.
Alongside a series of inspirational CPD seminars running across both days, there will be a full programme of interactive workshops for visitors to get involved in and discover new activities to try in their settings. The workshops will cover a range of interesting topics, including mindfulness in the early years, an introduction to Makaton, sensory play, and ways of supporting fine motor development.
For those looking for educational resources and new ideas to revamp their early years setting or primary school, a variety of top suppliers have been confirmed to exhibit at the event to showcase their latest innovations and best-selling products. Companies set to exhibit include YPO, Community Playthings, Hope Education, TTS, Bloomsbury and many more.
Visitors also have the chance to win a £500 John Lewis voucher, simply for inviting as many colleagues to come along to the show with them as they can. The visitor who invites the most – wins! See the full competition details here.
