Childcare & Education Expo takes pride in hosting exhibitors that not only provide quality resources but also strive to make a real difference to the childcare sector. Discover some of the organisations that you can meet at Childcare & Education Expo Midlands, who are striving to make a positive impact on the sector every day. Meet them at the show on Friday 23rd – Saturday 24th September 2022 at Coventry Building Society Arena.

Empowering Early Years Workforce

The popular show for early years and primary education professionals works closely with associations such as Community and National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA), to bring visitors support and advice and to empower the early years workforce. Community is a modern trade union who support early years professionals with any workplace issues such as unfair changes to contracts and working hours. This union also takes a stand for the early years workforce by lobbying the government for better employment terms and conditions.

Trusted partner, NDNA, is a charity who are dedicated to making a difference to the early years sector and actively holds to their mission statement, “To lead and empower the sector so that nurseries and the early years workforce deliver sustainable, high quality early childhood education and care.”

Join these associations, amongst others, at the show and take advantage of the invaluable support they provide.

Care Services for Children

Across the exhibition floor, you will also find some of the behind-the-scenes heroes ready to take immediate action when children need it most. Meet Childrens Air Ambulance Service who are a national lifesaving transfer service supporting nurseries and schools to help critically ill babies and children. When a child is too sick to travel, they can fly medical teams and bespoke equipment to them from across the UK.

Meet Blade, their friendly mascot, who will be walking around the show for some fantastic photo opportunities.

Family run, Ofsted Outstanding fostering agency Parallel Parents, will also be at the show. Their child-focused approach is what makes them special and they are ready to talk to those interested in the rewarding career change into fostering.

Inclusion and Diversity

Encouraging diversity and individuality are Mangotree Kids, who have been a provider of authentic multicultural toys and resources for over 20 years to nurseries and schools. As a company, they are committed to igniting the natural curiosity and imagination within all children. Their offerings include beautiful black Afro hair dolls, black books, traditional multicultural Homecorner sets and African drumming workshops.

Social-Ability are joining the show, promoting ‘The Happiness Programme’, which is a first-of-its-kind initiative helping to change the lives of children and young people living with cognitive challenges. This truly transformational activity programme works with many of the leading care venues across the UK, to provide these children with happiness and learning opportunities.

Achieving High Quality Education

There is nothing more valuable than knowledge and this is at the heart of the shows founders. Meet exhibitors who are focused on developing the best education possible for children and professionals regardless of their background.

Working in close partnership with the show is The Early Years Alliance, who is the largest, most representative early years membership organization in England. Their aim is to support early years providers to deliver high quality, affordable and sustainable care and learning to families. Best Practice Network is also playing a large part in positive change by enabling children to access excellent education by developing skilled and fulfilled education professionals.

With eight exhibitors focusing on different types of educational services and training, visitors will be spoilt for choice.

Wellbeing and Health

Supporting children’s wellbeing and health needs is imperative and visitors can find five exhibiting companies with this focus. With over 20 years experience, Meadows Psychology Service offer specialist psychology services working in collaboration with schools to support children to achieve their full potential whilst feeling safe and supported in education settings.

Creating a world where generations are inspired to ‘look beyond their mentality’ is Bouncing Statistics mission. Find them on the floor to discover more about their mentoring, sport, tutoring programmes and workshops ready to encourage healthy lifestyles in your settings.
